In Today’s Episode I’m bringing you Rafe Kelley. He’s a movement coach that took his background in Parkour and developed his own art of movement method he calls, Evolve Move Play. In today’s episode we explore why you’ll receive more bang for your buck, both financially and time-wise from exercising outdoors. How to turn your exercise time into play time, why everyone should take a self defense class, and how do to it in ways that will make you more happy and more productive, and much much more. Rafe is not only a thought leader in the physical movement arena, I found him to be very down to earth, which I always appreciate. I highly recommend all his work, if you’re interested. I’m planning on taking his week long course this coming August of 2016, and I’m excited about that. You can find his links on the show note page for this episode. And I think I made a goof. I was saying in the episode the show notes were at going to be at www.drchrisfrykman.com/evolvemoveplay, which they are. But then at the end I say www.drchrisfrykman.com/rafekelley. haha So you can type either of those things and they’ll both work. You don’t need to be interested in his course to get a lot out of this episode though. Please enjoy our conversation about a vision of bringing people to a more natural, more primal way of moving. Let’s get people out of the gyms and back into the real world, moving for the joy of moving, not for the shame of being overweight or the fear of suffering a heart attack. Whether you’re like me and you think of us as spiritual beings having a physical experience or you’re a materialist like Rafe and you think of yourself as a physical being having a mental experience, either way, the bottom line is when you move for the joy of movement, you’re going to have more happiness in life, you’ll never have to motivate yourself to workout again, and I guarantee you’ll be a more whole version of yourself. Here’s to you living YOUR Vibrant Potential.
