DEFINITIONS

• Decentralization - The transfer of control of an activity or organization to several local offices or authorities rather than one single one.
• ICO - Initial Coin Offering. A type of crowdfunding.
• FIAT - Government issued currency, such as the US Dollar.
• HODL - Someone misspelled "Hold" in a forum and it went viral.
• Market Cap - Total Supply times the Current Price point.
• Cold Storage - Cryptocurrency stored in paper wallet or hardware offline.
• ROI - Return on Investment
• FORK - When a blockchain splits into two separate chains.
• FUD - Fear, Uncertainty & Doubt. Often propaganda to lower prices.
• ATH - All-Time High. The highest price a coin has ever been.
• API - a set of functions and procedures allowing the creation of applications that access the features or data of an operating system, application, or other service.
