Coming up on today’s show my guest is truly an entrepreneur Ryan Hamilton is the founder of Universimm: A fast-growing ad-free social network fostering global connections.

And it’s this we will be discussing here today-

Ryan was born in Zimbabwe raised in that most beautiful parts of the world South Africa,later in life

Ryan moved to Scotland for a time also ,

His life’s journey is not just measurable in miles travelled across this globe but it’s also about The many learned skills along the way he has gathered and Utilised to become the person he is today , in one part of this journey

led him to appreciate wine not just in the partaking but to a level of working hospitality at Skibo Castle to the west of Dornoch in the Highland county of Sutherland, here In Scotland he gained experience in hospitality working professional roles at London's Covent Garden Hotel, and a stint in the wine industry with Majestic ,

He has also worked as a sommelier for luxury cruise company yachts ,

It was during this time that

Ryan was fortunate to

meet the girl that would become his wife .

Time went by and the couple decided to move to Uruguay, where ryan identified a gap in the market for tailored wine experiences, leading to the creation of the Wine Experience, which operates in 180 countries.

Ryan’s past experience of marketing and customer communication along the traditional methods as well as today’s social media experience ,gave him the unique insight into what social media is and what some of the major platforms greatly lack ,

This led Ryan to see several gaps in this huge market

And upon researching ,planning and uniquely asking people themselves what they wanted from social media and what they actually get ,

he then decided to develop, create and launch the Universimm Platform -Unlike other major social media platforms, Universimm allows users to post ,based on specific countries-

interests, and niches, offering a more focused and enjoyable experience. The universesimm platform also avoids intrusive tracking and offers a new approach to advertising, allowing users to share content specific to their interests and locations. Ryan's approach to making social media kinder and more tolerable includes promoting empathy, respect, and kindness in online interactions, offering support to those facing personal battles, and sharing motivational messages to inspire and uplift others,

These and many of the other reasons ,form a solid foundation for the next generation of how we interact with others on line ,

Do I want to be seeing adverts for things I’m not interested in ?- no I certainly don’t ,

I don’t want ads for movies or violent computer games or anything shady popping up on my screen either ,

But at the same time I don’t want big brother decidedly interfering with my posts and making choices for me ,

My guest today has a good perspective on life and has done what we all try to do and that’s play your own tune and dance to it rather than that of others ,He is an Entrepreneur of self making and I’m really looking forward to speaking with him.
