In today's episode we talk about mindful and strategic approaches to emerging from the pandemic. This moment in time is an opportunity to be intentional about where you spend your time and energy, knowing that being busy isn’t better, less can be more.

This moment is an opportunity to prune, consume less, and enjoy more stillness, quiet, and time to “be.” Just because something has “come back” doesn't mean you have to partake. It is time to tap into your values and alignment and make decisions with those top of mind.

You can give yourself permission to not sign up for every conference or course that comes your way - even if it is free. Can you take the offerings as an opportunity to practice mindful inquiry for yourself and take a mindful pause before engaging? Your time and energy are valuable. Choose to spend them wisely.

Notice why you feel the urge or need to sign-up.

Is doing so in alignment with your values?

What will you not be able to do or engage in if you sign-up for this?

Often letting go is or saying no is a far greater act than hanging on. The fear of missing out can be very strong. And there is much to be gained from taking a pause and finding presence and stillness. Saying no and passing, from a place of authenticity, is an act of self-compassion.
