Nourishment is a prerequisite for transformation and a life better lived. There are many ways to nourish yourself beyond food. Today Jessie is joined by a special guest, Dr Anne Kennard. Dr Kennard is Board-Certified in ObGyn, Integrative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine and is an herbalist and a yoga teacher.

We discuss the art of nourishing oneself with unscheduled time and white space. We discuss minimalism, nature, and sunshine as forms of nourishment for all the senses. We touch on coaching, yoga, ayurveda, mindfulness, and the importance of human touch and social connection.

Teas and herbs and special milks and tonics are also known to be “nourishing”; the rituals around drinking them are an equally valuable form of nourishment . Sleep is as well.

Yoga- Yin, Restorative and Mindful yoga are all tools to nourish and grow the parasympathetic nervous system and nourish yourself.
