As most great things tend to be, the story of the murderous misadventures of Derrick and Sally was born of a fever dream. Written by the drunken murderer himself, Michael Fenske, the webseries centres around a young man named Derrick who wakes from a post-breakup binge next to a bubbly teenager, Sally. What happens next can only be explained as ridiculously fun and fatal.Nate Kelly takes the helm this week and is joined by the Bathtub Killer crew, Ashley MacDonald, Michael Fenske, David Gattey, and from beyond the wall, in a place that is always winter but never Christmas, our lovely Rachel Taylor. The Very Clever Productions gang shares some of the funny moments on set as well as the challenges and processes of creating the webseries. Derrick and Sally have already taken home 1st place in the monthly VanChan webseries festival, here in Vancouver, and are submitting their webseries to other festivals as well.
