A link exists between the suffering we may go through as believers while pursuing obedience to the LORD and the goal of acquiring deeper intimacy and knowledge of Him. In brokenness, we become vulnerable and desperate, and it is at this point that we ought to seize the moment and seek His face. If we do, through the experience lived and in time, He will fashion and mold us to be conformed to the image of His Son. We should, therefore, conceive every suffering experience as an opportunity to see God’s glory. If you find yourself in the middle of the storm, cry out to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and pour out your heart in His presence coming to Him through Jesus’ mediation. In time, He will answer, and you will come to know Him more intimately.
