In this conversation, Shawn talks about his background and how he rarely asked the father for guidance. He explains how he is learning to ask the father what he wants him to do, and how he is developing his trust by following the instructions he receives to the best of his ability. Having grown up as part of a church community, he started owning companies from an early age.

He believes that God allows us to experience all kinds of things in order to build our character and develop spiritual maturity.
