Then on New Year’s Eve their family changed forever. Brittani and her father, Gary, recount the story of the agonizing aftermath of the tragedy.

Resolution for a tragedy of this magnitude could never be singular, and this is a grief that the family will always carry. But it is in that grief that Brittani becomes who she is today, a fierce protector of the women who come into her orbit.
