He erects the memory of Henry McNeal Turner, who was ousted from the Georgia State Legislature in the 1860s for the crime of being Black. And he brings forth Tennessee native #JulianBond, who was also ousted from the Georgia legislature nearly a 100 years after Turner. History rhymes
