The lives of our minds are important to Jesus. He designed our minds to govern our emotions, and our actions, interpret how we see the world, and to store our memories. Sometimes our minds fool us into thinking things are worse than they are. They forget the goodness that’s all around us. They are easily distracted and influenced by false realities, And sometimes they need healing. Jesus instructs us to love him with our minds. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. - Matthew 22:37, NIV Loving God with all our minds looks like a "superabundance of life." A conscious awareness of God’s goodness all around us. A call to the real and genuine life right in front of us. A recognition that God is provider of all things and that we have more than we need because of him. The knowledge that God grieves the traumatic things that have happened to us and wants to heal us. That’s the abundant life of the mind.
