On episode 146 I am delighted to be joined by former Dublin Senior Football coach and current performance coach with Leinster Rugby Declan Darcy. Declan is a decorated player and helped guide Leitrim to the 1994 Connacht Senior Football Championship as captain. He later represented Dublin at senior level crossing paths with a young Stephen Cluxton during his final season in 2002. He is known for his time as coach with the Dublin Senior Football team from winning 6 All Ireland titles from 2013-2019 including the historic 5 in a row. On this episode we discuss his coaching journey, the experiences and lessons he’s learnt along the way, insights into elite sporting environments, and so much more! Declan was very generous with his time and I hope you get something from the episode!
