Preflop: With an $800 straddle on Brandon Steven looks down at 42 of diamonds in the big blind and raises to $2,300. Rampage Poker, the player in the straddle, 3-bets to $7,000 with AJo, and Steven calls with his low-suited one-gapper.
Flop – Ks Td 9d: The king-high connected flop doesn’t give either player a pair, but it does give them both draws. Steven checks with his flush draw, while Rampage fires a continuation bet of $6,000 with a gutshot straight draw to the nuts and an overcard. Steven calls, and they head to the turn.
Turn – 6h: The 6 of hearts on the turn doesn’t improve Steven or Rampage’s hand. Both the high-stakes cash game players check, and they head to the river.
River – Qd: The Q of diamonds river completes both players’ draws. Steven now has a four-high flush, while Rampage has a broadway straight. Steven decides to lead out for $23,000. Rampage then raises to $128,900 with his straight, enough to put Steven all-in. But will Steven lay down his baby flush? Stay tuned for this entire poker video to find out!
