In this week's episode, Ricky and Jon interview Heather Mac Donald. Heather is the Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a contributing editor of City Journal. She is a recipient of the 2005 Bradley Prize. Mac Donald’s work has canvassed a range of topics, including higher education, immigration, policing and “racial” profiling, homelessness and homeless advocacy, criminal-justice reform, and race relations.

Her books include: “The Burden of Bad Ideas” (2001), “Are Cop Racist?” (2003), “The War on Cops” (2016) And most recently “When Race Trumps Merit: How the Pursuit of Equity Sacrifices Excellence, Destroys Beauty, and Threatens Lives”. We spoke at length about the state of classical music and the lowering of standards in many fields across the West in the pursuit of racial equity.
