The bawdiness and ribaldry continue in the second film of Pier Paolo Pasolini's Trilogy of Life, The Canterbury Tales. My god, what a picture! The stench coming off this thing, good lord! Alex and Ben dive head first into the shit, piss, cum, and vomit and come out the other side realizing that this film is a stone cold masterpiece. We love you Ninetto Davoli, MVP. The boys also watched some of Pasolini's earlier films for context: Alex checked out The Gospel According to Matthew and confirms it as a Jesus classic, and Ben watched Teorema (aka Theorem) and is left yearning for some of that divine Terence Stamp dick. Spoilers for all films, especially The Canterbury Tales as we go through each bawdy bit (the tales are like 600 years old so it's nobody's fault but your own).
