Today, Al and I are sitting down with Christie and Suzanne, two amazing women (and golfers) who reflect on their journey in the world of golf just five to eight years in.

Listen in as they share what led them to the sport and the unique challenges of getting started without the boundless energy of youth on your side, as well as their thoughts on the importance of a supportive community and guidance from seasoned players as they transitioned from 9 to 18 holes.

We talk about the importance of taking lessons regularly during the off-season with a single coach that you trust. We also give our thoughts on accepting regression in our game and how to keep it from impacting our self-worth, and a discussion on handling nerves and self-doubt when playing in tournaments.

Finally, our guests share what golf has brought them so far that they never expected, and what excites them about continuing to grow and explore this “second chapter” in their lives.
