When Dr. Nehemiah Mabry was a child, he thought he wanted to be an "inventor," because he didn't even know that the term "engineer" existed. In high school, his father helped him realize that he was destined for a STEM career, and he later worked as an engineering researcher at NASA, an engineer at Simpson Engineers and Associates and a researcher and instructor at N.C. State University.
