Relive the three days of the Rolex Australian GP as they happened with Peter Windsor. Although Max Verstappen took the pole for Red Bull after a relatively scrappy practice on Friday, his early retirement paved the way for a momentous one-two victory for Ferrari. Carlos Sainz, facing an uncertain future following Lewis Hamilton's 2025 Ferrari signing, not only out-qualified his team-mate, Charles Leclerc, but also out-raced him to the flag. The two McLaren-Mercedes finished a strong third and fourth, Lando Norris ahead of Oscar Piastri - but there was controversy on the penultimate lap when George Russell crashed his Mercedes in spectacular fashion after being confused by Fernando Alonso's early braking manoeuvres with his Aston Martin.
