In this chapter Ruth gleans in the field of someone that is a "kinsman." We see that Boaz, who is a type of Christ, shows favor to Ruth. She not only gets "handfuls of purpose" of grain, but she gets more than she could ever imagine. In this chapter we see with God there is "No Limit" to His grace.

×News had spread among "the apostles and brethren" that the Gentiles had also received the word of God (Acts 10:1), but not everyone was happy." In chapter 11 Peter reviews with the brethren, the events that led to the Gentiles hearing and receiving the word of God. After hearing from Peter, their conclusion was "Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life." (Acts 11:18) The rest of this chapter shifts its focus to Barnabas and a man named Saul, who would become known as Paul.…
In this chapter God uses a Jew, Peter to take the gospel to a Gentile, Cornelius. In a vision the LORD tells Peter, "What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common(Acts 10:15)." The sacrifice that Christ made on the cross made it possible for all to be saved.

Stephen was one of the original seven that was appointed by the church in Acts 6. The Bible tells us that he was a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit. In chapter six we also see the Jews disputing with Stephen, and "they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake(Acts 6:10)." Therefore, they falsely accuse him of blasphemy. In chapter seven we see Stephen's response to these accusations. He does not defend himself, but rather proclaims what God had done. This sermon begins with Abraham, and it closes with the persecution of the prophets who proclaimed the coming of the "Just One(Acts 7:52)." At the end of this chapter we will be introduced to a young man named Saul, who consented unto the death of Stephen.…

In this chapter we will see a church that was unstoppable. When sin crept into the church, it was removed. Then there came outside oppostion, which tried to silence them. Peter and the other apostles said, "We ought to obey God rather than men(Acts 5:29)."
In this chapter we will see the effects of the lame man being healed. First of all Peter preaches to the people and 5,000 men believed. Then we see the response of the religious crowd. Peter and John were commanded to not speak or teach in the name of Jesus. They said, "we cannnot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." (Acts 4:20)…

Here we see a shocking announcement is given to Mary. The Angel Gabriel visits Mary and tells her that she would give birth to a Son, even though she was a virgin. Her response to the angel was "...be it unto me according o thy word(Luke 1:38)."
Before Jesus was born in Bethlehem, his forerunner was born. Before the Angel Gabriel visited Mary, he visited Zacharias the priest. This passage is about the promise given to Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth.
