Manage episode 400523825 series 2523420
The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (1974) synopsis: “A cop chases two hippies suspected of a series of Manson family-like murders; unbeknownst to him, the real culprits are the living dead, brought to life with a hunger for human flesh by ultrasonic radiation being used for pest control.”
Starring: Cristina Galbó, Ray Lovelock, Arthur Kennedy, and Jeannine Mestre
Director: Jorge Grau
This week on Podcasting After Dark, Zak and Corey review The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue! Yes, the film has other names, a lot of them, in fact, but this is the one the boys know it as so that’s what we’re calling it lol! Now that we got that out of the way, Zak and Corey are really excited to breakdown and review, Manchester Morgue. A film that both hosts love because, like Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things, it inhabits and interesting time in zombie movie history: A time before all the rules were really locked in by George Romero with Dawn of the Dead in 1978.
