A lot of people don’t know that there are 2 main schools of exfoliators. The most common ones are the physical exfoliators. They are grainy bits of anything really (nuts, coconut shells, apricot) and they physically rub the dead layers of your skin off. The second is chemical exfoliators. These are acids of some sort (AHAs, BHAs, PHAs) most often from fruits or plant and do the same thing as physical exfoliators but in a different way.
