This book by Julia Bartz brings to life Alex, a New York writer floudering for inspiration, recently out of a friend breakup who gets invited to a secluded writing retreat hosted by a famous horror author. This combined with the fire of competetion- which leads of course to hashing out the details of The Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan story.
