On the premiere episode of Season 2 of the Off the Edge with Cam Jordan podcast, Cam welcomes his QB1 Derek Carr to the show. Cam starts out finally asking Derek why he decided to play for the Saints after his release from the Raiders. Going into year two together, the guys discuss what it’ll take for them to reach Super Bowl LIX in their home city of New Orleans. Derek also talks about what will be “different” about the Saints offense this season. The guys discuss why they believe we could one day see a separate salary cap for quarterbacks, and Derek reveals who he would pick as his franchise QB if he was a general manager.
