I have a confession to make, and I think you’re gonna want to sit down for this one. When I first learned about the call on my life, I wasn’t excited. In fact, I wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with it. You see, the first time I tried to take a stand for God in my work, I was advised not to offend others with my faith. I allowed myself to be bullied into believing that faith and business should not be connected. For a few years, I pretended as if God wasn’t talking to me. The truth was, the mandate made me extremely uncomfortable. It took 5 years and God speaking 4 words at a time in my life when I was open that made me reconsider. Those four words, God Girls Making Millions, once I really sat with them, changed my life, and created a new purpose for my work. Today, I am a proud God girl making millions creating a safe space for others to do the same. We have the pleasure of existing in a marketplace where more and more women are becoming vocal about their faith in their work and it’s time for even more of us to stand up to be counted because the world needs us.
