In an age of sports journalism where ESPN canceled Bob Ley’s Outside the Lines and HBO/Warner Discovery canceled Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, and the recent New York Post report by Ryan Glasspiegel that Around the Horn will be canceled before the 2025 football season, sports journalism has been marginalized.
