Each week, the Maclean’s Ottawa bureau sits down with Cormac Mac Sweeney to discuss the headlines of the week. This week, Donald Trump is the President of the United States of America. We have full coverage of the inauguration and what it means for Canada.

To kick off the show, we’re joined by Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan, who is in Washington as part of Canada’s official delegation. Then, we’re joined by several experts who weigh in on the impact of this inauguration. We also hear from Maclean’s columnist Scott Gilmore, who was on the ground speaking with people in the crowd during the historic event.

Finally, from Trump to O’Leary, it seems reality TV businessmen are dominating leadership talk in North America. Kevin O’Leary made it official this week, launching his campaign for the federal Conservative leadership race. O’Leary joins us on the show to discuss his chances, jobs, and of course, Donald trump.
