In each of those seasons the Wild missed on their first round pick, so we take a look at other players that would have been available to select. From AJ Thelen to James Sheppard to Colton Gillies, the Wild selected players that either underwhelmed or never got to the NHL at all. We also discuss some of their biggest hits in those years, in particular Cal Clutterbuck. Thankfully the Wild have made better selections under Judd Brackett, because from 2004 until 2010 there were few first round hits, and that is something no franchise can afford.
