The Messiah is called the Christ, from Greek: khristós, translating the Hebrew word of the same meaning. Mashiach in modern Jewish texts literally means "anointed one”.
Evangelical Mega church pastors mocked Pentecostals, yet If the Anointed One and His Anointing is the central message of the bible, shouldn’t most our sermons, actually most our christian walk, center around an understanding of the anointing of the holy spirit
The anointing of the Holy Ghost is not some side doctrine of the fringe part of the Church.
The anointing is the central message of the bible.
