Jump Into Spanish

We are learning Spanish with the Ukrainian folk tale "The Mitten" as retold by Jan Brett in this term of Jump Into Spanish (Term 1B).

las huellas | (las oo-EH-yahs) | the footprints
el tocón | (ehl toh-KOHN) | the tree stump
el estanque | (ehl eh-STAHN-keh) | the pond
las ramas | (lahs RAH-mahs) | the branches
las agujas de pino | (lahs ah-GOO-hahs deh PEE-noh) | the pine needles
Make sure you find a picture or come up with an action to represent each word. THEN, as you repeat each word after me, make sure you are also pointing to the picture or saying the word out loud. This helps your brain really think in Spanish instead of translating from English to Spanish.
