Jump Into Spanish

We are learning Spanish with the Ukrainian folk tale "The Mitten" as retold by Jan Brett in this term of Jump Into Spanish (Term 1B).

el gorro | (ehl GOHR-roh) | the winter hat
la falda | (lah FAHL-dah) | the skirt
los zapatos | (lohs sah-PAH-tohs) | the shoes
los calcetines | (lohs kahl-seh-TEE-nehs) | the socks
el abrigo | (ehl ah-BREE-goh) | the coat
las botas | (las BOH-tahs) | the boots
Make sure you find a picture or come up with an action to represent each word. THEN, as you repeat each word after me, make sure you are also pointing to the picture or saying the word out loud. This helps your brain really think in Spanish instead of translating from English to Spanish.
