On the November 28th, 2020 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Sports Saturdays, host Angelo Di Carlo interviews Haley Scott DeMaria in our Focus on Faith segment. Haley is a former Irish swimmer and one of Notre Dame's most inspiring stories. She was involved in the 1992 snow storm bus crash that resulted in the death of of two her teammates. Haley was told at the time that she'd likely never walk again, let alone swim. But she shares the incredible ways those in the Notre Dame and South Bend community prayed for her including, Notre Dame President Fr. Monk Malloy coming to her bedside and prays from the All Catholic Schools Mass. Haley not only walked again, she swam again and honored the legacy of her teammates.
