Are humming a little ditty today, or is your tune a little slower?

Welcome to another day!
Did you wake up with a little bounce in your step today, or is it one of those days that you needed to gather up all the good vibes just to put your socks on and make your way out the door. Are you humming a fun little ditty, or are you void of a fun tune?
As you were getting ready for your day, maybe even last night… what were you thinking about? Did you know today might be heavier or lighter than normal? If you were projecting a “heavier” day or a “drag” of a day, how did you prepare and set yourself up for the best scenario? What is in your bag of tricks that you can pull out to work your success plan today? Often, when I know I’m walking into a big day, I find myself whistling or humming a little ditty to remind me life is more than the tasks that fill my calendar.
Singing a tune with closed lips, without speaking distinctly. Humming can be a way to relax and reduce stress. It can lower blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing rate, and release endorphins.
Where are you? Where do you want to be? How can you make sure to get from point A to point B with as much joy as possible. What can you do to help you move through the “stink” that you might encounter today?
If you’re around any kind of motivational contexts or on social media it won’t take long until you here “you’ve survived 100% of your worst days so far. You can survive this one too”. My friends, if this is going to be one of those days for us… may be get resolute, hum a little ditty………. Remind ourselves that we got it… and then go get em!
