In this week’s episode, the Starting 5 began the show discussing the 4th quarter improvements of the Grizzlies' halfcourt offense over the past few weeks. Ja Morant being out combined with a weaker schedule has allowed the Grizzlies time to find other avenues to score in the 4th quarter of games.

In the next segment titled “Hustle Up” Memphis Hustle reporter, Parish Sharkey, gives an update on the Memphis Grizzlies G League affiliate. The Memphis Hustle clinched a bye in the G League playoffs and will play a home game at the FedExForum this Friday.

In the next segment, the Starting 5 picked their winners for the final four of their NBA playoff contenders bracketology. The guys ranked and picked their first two-round winners in the two previous episodes.

To close the Show, the Starting 5 discussed the media trying to start a Ja Morant vs Jaren Jackson Jr. narrative. There has been a question asked about who has the highest ceiling between the two stars this past week.
