Our ancestors were connected to the land and were in tune with mother nature. They were at one with the land, nurturing the soils and in return gaining food which was nutrient rich and nourishing.
They knew intuitively what to eat and drink and most importantly understood the power of seasonal foods. They had a work and life balance that truly served them.
So much of this wisdom has been lost around real foods from the soil and now we find ourselves in a time when health issues are on a rapid increase and ultra processed foods are quickly taking over our supermarkets.
In these uncertain times should we be going back to the old ways of eating foods that our body recognises and foods that truly serve our body, mind and spirit?
