Leo Fernandes is a Brazilian born, Long Island raised professional soccer player for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship, USA’s second professional tier. Leo was drafted by the Philadelphia Union where he made his MLS debut, before later going on loan to teams like the NY Cosmos. He's played with the likes of Joe Cole and Raul. Yes that Raul. After 10 years as a professional, Leo arguably just had his best season to date, scoring 20 goals, adding 9 assists and winning the league MVP award.
