There is no doubt that Scott Pence has a passion for the outdoors. He and his family love to both Hunt and Fish and spend a lot of time in the forests and rivers of Oregon.

Scott is very analytical in everything that he does and when he started fishing for Steelhead in NW Oregon years ago he began keeping meticulous records of water and weather conditions compared to the number of fish that he caught. A number of years later Scott decided to publish his book which quickly became a popular read for the Steelhead fishing community.
