Welcome back!!! It feels so good to be back in front of the microphone and talking with you all again. Many of you know that I have been on maternity leave for the last few months. Once a week, maybe even more than that, I started thinking about making the transition and getting back into work and coming off of maternity leave, which is crazy because maternity leave suggests that I was not working and taking the time to do what exactly?

Now, we all know what maternity leave looks like, of course. However, coming out of this so-called “maternity leave” and stepping back into work, I’m scratching my head because I’m working but also still “mothering,” right? I’m still wrapping my head around how everything in life has changed, from parenthood to motherhood, but I’m still the same person.

That’s why I’m excited to be back because this space that I’ve created allowed me to express my curiosity, feelings, and every aspect of my life that is too confusing to deal with alone. The beautiful part about this conversation that we will have today is that you don’t have to do it alone, and the best things in life are shared. And if you’re listening to today’s episode, you are probably trying to figure things out just like the rest of us cause Lord knows that I'm still trying to figure it out myself.
