The guys from Dawgman.com - Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund - knew the news was coming, but it's always a bit of a shock when it actually happened. And on Monday it happened; the Washington Huskies hired Fresno State Head Coach Kalen DeBoer to be their next head coach, replacing Jimmy Lake.

So what is their initial reaction to the hire? Their initial reaction to the process Washington went through under Athletic Director Jen Cohen? They talk about all of that, as well as the first steps for DeBoer in salvaging a 2022 recruiting class that will start to come together two weeks from Wednesday, as well as who will DeBoer bring with him from Fresno?

And how will Jeff Tedford play a part in DeBoer's move, if any?

Finally, the guys also talk a little about the other UW news that came out Monday that OLB Laiatu Latu, who medically retired in April due to a neck injury, has put his name in the transfer portal in the hopes another school will clear him to play.
