The party continues with their caravan North. Taabi's reconnection with Sapphire is interrupted when the party is suddenly ambushed by a band of Rebels, who were looking to liberate slaves being transported along the road. After the party proved their caravan was of free people, Leda, the Rebel Leader told the party of more slavers operating out of the city of Marin's Port. She describes two slavers Lord Sumi and Astrid who are rumoured to be at odds with one another.

The party enter Marin's Port and go undercover at a fancy hotel to gather information on the slavers in the hopes of pitting them against each other. While they wait for their chance to poison the ear of the slavers, the party enjoys relaxing in the hotel and indulging in the luxury so rarely afforded to them.

We are a Dungeons and Dragons 5e actual play focussed on roleplay over combat. Dragging themselves out of the chaos from their royal assassination, Verity, Elly and Ariana are in mourning. Reclaiming her title, Princess Verity faces her need to repent for past murders. Ariana struggles with what it means to be two souls in one body. Elly finds herself turned to ice, as she delves with powers beyond her.

They are joined by new allies, Lenore, Taabi and Brilia. Lenore, a follower of the Raven Queen, finds herself drawn to helping these lost young women (and freeing herself). Taabi, a nomadic Tabaxi, who will do anything to survive, and seeks the secrets of the dead. Brilia, a former housewife turned adventurer who learned her warlock abilities to protect her partner, Kos.
