Returning to play after injury requires a specific physical progression, but what does the optimal mindset look like for an athlete during the process? This is a question that Drew Werner and I have both been on a mission to answer for the athletes and colleagues we work with. Drew is a Certified Athletic Trainer who has gone on to obtain his masters degree in Sport Psychology from Capella University and a like minded colleague that is also integrating mental performance into sports rehabilitation.
