Like many other's who struggle through substance use addiction have there many up's and downs as they go through life. Sonya is no stranger to this but one thing she never did was give up on herself. Sonya persevered through the dark times in her life to get to where she is today in life.

Sonya is the Program Coordinator of Parents for Parents Program at National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Sonya has also become an advocate for individuals struggling with addiction as well as a phenomenal content creator for substance use recovery.
