Why Fitness CANNOT Be Your Only Hobby (feat. Ash)

On this episode, Ash and I sit down to discuss why fitness cannot be your only hobby. We're not saying that fitness is bad. We're not saying that your should pursue something in place of fitness. We're simply saying that there is more to life than your "Fran" time, Snatch, and Handstand Push-ups.
As kids, teenagers, and even young adults, most of us played multiple sports, rode anything with wheels, went skiing/snowboarding, learned to hunt or fish, camped, hiked, etc. In other words, we did a lot of fun shit; we had a ton of hobbies!
How many hobbies do you have now? How often are you engaging in activities that don't pertain to work or fitness? When was the last time that you got outside the gym and expressed your fitness?
We're not saying that fitness can't be one of your hobbies, but it shouldn't be your ONLY hobby.
The reason that we train is to become more caring, confident, and capable in the things we love outside the gym! If all we care about are Clean and Jerks, Back Squats, and circuits, what's the point?
There is SO MUCH MORE to life outside of fitness!
