Class of 2025 QB Deuce Knight flipped on Wednesday from Notre Dame to Auburn. This wasn’t a huge surprise, but it produces some interesting discussions.

Does Hugh Freeze have to get a QB out of the portal now that he has the No. 7 QB recruit in the country in the class? Would 2024 freshman Walker White or Knight be able to be QB1 next year?

Does this mean the C.J. Carr era begins at Notre Dame in 2025? Or will the Fighting Irish get a starting QB out of the portal for the third consecutive season?
