This episode goes in a different direction than normal but we aim to cover all things, as the name promises. Last week, a tragedy occurred in which a former NFL player, Philip Adams, shot and killed 6 people in Rock Hill, South Carolina, before taking his own life. While we are unaware of exact details, the incident leads to a discussion on the physical and mental state of players in the aftermath of their football careers. Chris Hope played in the NFL for 11 seasons and also served as a mentor to Adams, as the two hailed from the same hometown. Hope joins hosts Patrick Peterson and Bryant McFadden as they have an honest conversation about the side effects of playing football. We want to make it clear that Philip Adams is not the victim but we also want to explore ways for ex-players to lead healthier lives. Chris ends the chat by saying "We're all going through something. You ain't in this by yourself, so don't be afraid to ask for help." That message is for everyone as our crew tries to convey on this episode. The National Suicide Prevention Hotline is 1-800-273-8255.
