Syreeta was included in Glamour Magazine's "Top 20 Under 25" and she is highlighted in John Schlimm's book, Stand Up!: 75 Young Activists Who Rock the World, And How You Can, Too!". Holding a B.A. in Urban Youth Culture, the only degree of its kind in the world, Gates is the former Creative Director of Travel Noire, a multi-dimensional platform for unconventional travelers.
