The Book of Romans, Part 37: The Goal of Justification By Faith (Rom. 5:1-2)

We have been studying the concept of “justification by faith,” as taught by Paul here in the first few chapters of his letter to the Romans. As we have seen, the goal is NOT to achieve eternal justification, but rather to obtain a closer walk with God in this life. Here in chapter 5, Paul states the goal clearly: “peace with God.” When we walk so as to be “justified by faith,” we have a peace with God that we will never experience otherwise. Join us today as we clearly see the goal of peace in our faith-walk with God.
