In this conversation George talks with, Dipika Badal. They discuss youth mobilization, HIV awareness, climate activism, post disaster response and the vital importance of youth empowerment. Dipika is 21 years old, from Nepal and is a student in Forestry Science at Kathmandu Forestry College. She currently serves as the President of ‘We’ for Change, a youth-led NGO in Nepal. Her interest in engaging young people on adopting a healthy lifestyle and environment led her to implement 5 projects and 20+ programs, reaching 5000+ youths since 2014. Dipika is a proud recipient of the Peace First (USA) Fellowship where she mobilized 150 young people to raise their voices for health concerns from air pollution. She is a positive, energetic and inspiring young leader who believes in the power of youth to create positive change!
