Following up from my blog post: Subtle influence – a test of presence. If not my thought, Who goes there?
Hearing voices that others don't is a challenge. I hear spirit guides, and that experience is positive. The not so positive aspect is hearing voices that express an intent to harm.
The difficult part is finding the language to explain their presence and offering tips on how to determine intent. Some voices are helpful. Others are not. The easiest way to identify a contrary voice/entity that is not on your side is to ask the question: Does the voice advocate/suggest self harm or harm to others?
A recent trip to the gas station was more of an adventure than expected. And it provided me with the perfect example of [a negative voice] an interaction with a contrary entity/being intent on creating turmoil.
When in doubt about the origin of a voice - Pause. Reflect. Focus. Do no harm.
