That was the case with Dr. Franchell Hamilton. She didn't start out with a career in bariatric surgery in mind when she got her BSc in Psychology.⁣

She founded A Better Weigh Center – a place for her patients to receive treatments ranging from bariatric surgery and medical weight loss to hormone therapy.⁣

As her practice grew, she began seeing more and more patients, often with the same recurring issue – maintaining their weight loss. Dr. Hamilton was not in the business of short-term fixes. She wanted to provide results with longevity.

The 4 Pillars: the mental, environmental, behavioral, and medical state of a patient. ⁣

In addressing these key areas, Dr. Hamilton was able to better provide a treatment plan for each patient that not only addresses their disease but also the root cause and methods to prevent it from recurring.⁣
