So, overnight expect a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It's going to be mostly cloudy with temperatures dipping to around 83 degrees. It's also going to be pretty windy, with a south wind blowing around 25 miles per hour, and gusts could reach as high as 30 miles per hour.
As we move into Friday, there's a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day, with showers likely and maybe a thunderstorm popping up in the afternoon. The high will be near 89 degrees, but it may feel as hot as 105 due to the humidity. The wind will stick around, blowing from the south at 18 to 22 miles per hour, with gusts hitting 26 miles per hour. Rainfall could amount to between a quarter and half of an inch.
For Friday night, the chances of showers and thunderstorms drop to 40 percent, mainly before 2 a.m. It will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures around 82 degrees and a south wind of about 14 miles per hour.
And looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will see a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8 a.m., but it will be mostly sunny with a high near 90. Heat index values might spike as high as 106.
